RUN INTO WINTER

On November 28, 2021, everyone had the opportunity to participate in the free orienteering event "Run into Winter".
Within two hours, each team had to try to find and scan as many checkpoints as possible using a special app and a map created by the organizers for navigation. For each checkpoint found, the team earns corresponding points. The further the checkpoint is from the starting point or the harder it is to find, the higher its possible value. It is also important to mention the significance of punctuality – points are deducted for every minute late at the finish. This is why orienteering is such an interesting and relevant sport. It is suitable for athletes of all levels of professionalism and physical fitness!

A little over 100 participants took part in the event, forming 36 teams. Among the participants, there were both orienteers and families with children, as well as youth groups and, of course, our four-legged friends!

At the end of the event, the top 3 teams in each category were awarded, as well as 3 lottery winners.
